Name, email, message (contact form) To reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to manage our working relationship. Article 6 (1)(b) – performance of a contract / steps prior to contract.
Essential localStorage flag (cookieConsent) To remember your cookie‑banner choice. No tracking cookies used unless you opt in. Article 6 (1)(f) – legitimate interest (site functionality & preference storage).

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

5. Data sharing & transfers

I do not sell or rent your data. The only third‑party service involved is Formspree (USA), which securely forwards contact‑form submissions to my email. Formspree is self‑certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, providing adequate protection (Article 45).

When you click a “View Project” button, the chosen client site is displayed in an embedded <iframe>. This is technically the same as visiting that external website directly: alistair.design does not pass any personal data to it, but that site may set its own cookies or collect usage data under its own privacy policy.

The website uses HTTPS encryption. All devices and accounts are secured with strong passwords and two‑factor authentication.
